  • My Disco Nap

    My disco nap was created when we decided that we needed a name to represent all the tracks that me and Anna Chocola were doing together. Anna's on the mic, I'm producing and composition is more or less shared. My disco nap is a electronic project with a emphasis on sensuality, dance and groove.

  • CUICUI

    Cuicui is concept band as well as a performance. The trio plays very loud some very violent music at a very heigh bpm in a very small space. CUICUI always take places in small box of 2 meter cube made of found carboard and wood. The experience is extreme, physical and very positive as the space is saturated with sound, people, smells, shouts and laughters. Band Member:Kiitchi ( Pierre Andrieux ), Jankenpopp ( Pierre-Erick Lefebvre ), Sober ( Thomas Michalak ).

The actions & behaviours of the public are as important as the action of the interactive piece. The combination of the piece & public makes sense and art.

My work was presented in a variety of festivals and exhibitions in Europe (A-foundation, Move Art fair, Permanent gallery, Kontact Sonores Festival). Most of my pieces are about the presence of the body and mind in a physical and virtual space, as well as interactivity in public spaces.

Most projects are created in-situ and involve the public as a indissociable part of the piece or performance. The actions and behaviour of the public are as important as the action of the interactive piece. The combination of both, piece and public, makes sense and art. The exchange makes the interactivity.

  • Sonic Body

    The Sonic Body is an audio-installation that uses interactive technology to create an orchestra of the human body. Developed as a collaboration between four interdisciplinary artists and a heart surgeon, the installation brings together art and medical-science to reveal the unheard sounds of the body. The installation, created by artists Harry Neve, Thomas Michalak and Anna Orliac, appears on its exterior as a neutral cylindrical pod. Once inside however, the audience is immersed in a contrastingly tactile and multi-sensory space filled with sculptural fabric forms that evoke the shapes and contours of inner body parts.     Creation of Interactive environment for Stanley Douglas' hypertable. 8=8 is a interactive performance on a 2mx2m multi-touch table. Each Artists/programmers developed a rich and complex interactive, sonic and graphical interface to be played by the 4 performers at the same time or left as a installation.

In my freelance design work, I’ve produced promotional videos and album covers. I’ve also created custom Wordpress themes with tailored features. Those features are: reorganising and adding items or functionalities to the back-end side of Wordpress. Reorganising and adding items to the dashboard’s menu bar, adding extra options to the core functionalities of post, pages and categories and finally creating plugins to extend Wordpress capabilities as well as integrating various APIs.

  • Avert Charity

    I've been working as a Senior designer for an international HIV and AIDS charity from 2006 to dec 2011. I was managing one junior web designer and work closely with the web developer, the content team and fundraiser. I was responsible for their visual identity and promotion through their popular website, which received more than 500 000 visits a week and offered more than 250 pages. I also produced videos, animation and fundraising material such as leaflets, flyers, booklets and adverts.
